Black December Lace

Black lace is one of those items you can never have too much of - its always makes you look and feel feminine, chic, and fashionable. Its also surprisingly easy to wear- because of its inherit ornateness it requires minimal accessories and is therefore much less effort than any other LBD.
Net-a-Porter August Fashion Guide - gorgeous!!
Paula Zago by Gustavo Marx for Cake #3
Arizona Muse by Hedi Slimane for Vogue Russia December 2011

Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 Runway- oh how I adore Isabeli Fontana!
Lara Stone by Alasdair McLellan for Self Service SS 2011
Mackenzie Hamilton by Rony Shram for Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam
Karlina Caune by Jørgen Gomnæs for Costume Norway December 2011
Monique Lhuillier Fall 2011 RTW

Iekeliene Stange by Naomi Yang for Vogue Taiwan

Tara Gill by Lily & Lilac for Dress to Kill Fall 2011
Lydia Willemina by Max Doyle for Vogue Australia August 2011

I love how lace pieces allow you to create a certain mood- retro, glamorous, Italian bombshell, ultra feminine, whatever. Even your choice in hairstyle can change the whole mood of the dress: voluminous layers, soft old hollywood waves, a faux bob, or even a Dolce Gabbana-style french twist with whispy strands near your face.
Most of all, lace makes you feel like a woman- its delicate but very alluring and pretty much makes you feel like the best version of you. :)

I love the intricacy of each piece and the glamor that the long sleeve adds to the pieces. The feminine embellishments and embroidery over the black simple figure hugging frock create such a elegant and vintage romantic feel.
What lines or pieces have you daydreaming?
Have a lovely day everyone
