Coach’s Facebook group is giving away Coach Poppy Pencil sets. All you have to do is fill out the form below and take it into Coach.
I would advise calling Coach first to make sure your nearest Coach store has some left.
I am going to use mine to sketch my jewelry and clothing designs. :)

Let’s get right down to business!
- Gold plated chain
- 12 12-mm pink glass pearls
- 6 8-mm gold plated crystal disc rondells
- Gold plated or non-tarnish brass wire – 24 or 22 gauge thickness
- Round nose pliers
- Chain nose pliers
- Wire cutters
For the gold plated chain I chose a thicker chain as the original necklace has a thicker chain with a dark gold, almost brassy, color.
For the chain you’ll need (3) 7-inch pieces and (4) 3-inch pieces
For those who are beginner or novice, here is an excellent diagram showing how to use pliers to create wrapped loop.
Repeat the process--the order of chains between the pearls from clasp to clasp will be the following pattern:
Clasp, 7-3-3-7-3-3-7, Clasp.
With a pearl-rondell-pearl combination (-) in between each stretch of chain.
Some artisitic shots:
I hope this helps! Enjoy!
Megan Fox’s necklace is more of a green turquoise than a blue. Green turquoise is less common and harder to find than blue.
Here is my version (right) next to Megan Fox’s (left):
I used rich green faux turquoise freeform nuggets and a antiqued silver toggle clasp.
Here is another shot side by side with my version on the left.
I was thinking about putting it up on etsy if anyone is interested in having their own. :-)

Being that this is my first post, I could think of no better way to start my blog than by paying homage to the lovely Audrey Hepburn.
Audrey remains one of the greatest style icons, and not just for her sense of fashion, but also how she carried her self with ultimate grace. She was and still remains the pinnacle of class, sophistication, and the definition of chic.
As a little girl I would have much rather grown up to be Audrey Hepburn than a ballerina like so many girls in my third grade class, and while Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a great movie, nothing for me will ever top Roman Holiday:
So without further ado, here are some of my favorite pictures and quotes from the lovely Audrey Hepburn:
“For me, the only things of interest are those linked to the heart.” - Audrey Hepburn
Breakfast at Tiffany's:
Doing everyday things much more glamorously:
“I was born with an enormous need of affection and a terrible need to give.” - Audrey Hepburn
“People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.” -Audrey Hepburn
