Elie Tahari's Fall 2009 line is simply gorgeous. Most of the pieces are actually one-piece dresses but create the illusion of high waisted pencil skirts, exotic blouses, colored tights with sheen, fabric belts, and long draping necklaces - there isn't anything about this line that I don't love...

Okay so this is really a pencil skirt and a blouse but it has the shock value as a LBD. The beaded shell/clam lapels are swoon-worthy. 
All these LBDs are worn with sheer black tights which is a great new pairing for any LBD you already own. Black sheer tights give the dresses a new level of chic.
